Imagine all the diversity of design you get in Williamsburg cafes without them being completely cooked and booked up by yuppies and influencers. Well this is, Bushwick. Not to say that Bushwick doesn't have influencers. Just not the ones that make you want to pull your hair out. Bushwick has originality. And if there's a place where that originality takes roots it's the book stores that double as wine bars and triple as cafes. It's a vintages stores the whip up a mean sesame matcha alongside reliable wifi.

It’s one thing to offer a sports bar in a place where there aren’t many. It’s another thing to take the elements of a good one and enhance them without losing that approachable dive bar charm, as often becomes the case. Well Eric and his team struck the balance perfectly. And their menu DOES NOT disappoint.

Ahh, Bushwick. Where the HBO Girls ran rampant on daddy's money to quickly turn a place where Maria Hernandez inspiringly fought to protect her neighborhood into an urban oasis of dive bars and dime bags for Chads and Brads. But those businesses certainly committed, because Bushwick might just have become the best pound-for-pound fighter on the bar crawl scene in NY, if not the North East. So let's crawl 'em all across the Top 10 best happy hours.

Read that again. It's not unfortunately Ridgewood, rather it's unfortunate that the world is about to discover all about the wonderful Ridgewood. With neighborly indy book stores that double as wine bars and triple as cafes (shoutout Topos & Topos II - even if you did get rid of your wifi).

Come to Ridgewood for the Jermey Allen White fan-club, but stay for the Happy Hours. There's something about the intentionally designed, neighborly, and affordable bars of Ridgewood that make them feel super approachable. Sure, these bars' interior designs could go toe-to-toe with Williamsburg but they're 2x as enjoyable and 1.5x the size of East Village prospects. Oh, and they've some pretty bangin' Happy Hours.
