Alex Aliume is a Kharkiv-born, Brooklyn-based artist whose work turns light into more than a spotlight. Fluorescent acrylics and phosphorescent materials make the paintings and dimensional wall sculptures shift as the illumination changes, while kinetic pieces use motion and geometry to create images that reveal themselves at different speeds.
The experience has more than 40 original works, and visitors can use ChromaDepth 3D glasses to see additional depth and color effects. Artist-led storytelling and Q&A make it feel less like a quick gallery lap and more like stepping into the visual logic behind the work.nyctourism+1
